Franchising, What it is and How it Works This course will provide a comprehensive overview of franchising. We will discuss the advantages, disadvantages and trends in franchising today. You will learn the many places to look for franchises beside the traditional newspaper. The course will examine the limitations and responsibilities created by a franchise contract. You will learn about capital outlay and source of financing. Accounting and legal advise, where to seek it and why. At the end of six weeks you will have the tools needed to begin a franchise search and evaluation.
