An Introduction to the Multiple Intelligences Theory: Learn practical strategies for increasing performance in students with diverse learning styles. This course will provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of contemporary multiple intelligence theories and their application to enhance and elevate students' diverse performance levels. An examination of the organizational and instructional implications of Howard Gardner's Seven Intelligences through review and discussion of research and media will increase participants' awareness of multiple intelligence theory and its application to self-evaluation, lesson planning and classroom organization, with an emphasis on addressing the needs of the special education student. 6 PDPs.
