Food Safety Certification Managers of food establishments have a responsibility to provide quality food that is safe for human consumption. Customers demand and government programs require all food service employees to be better educated in the principles of quality assurance and food protection. To meet this challenge, employees and managers are choosing education programs that offer recognized certification. Applied Food Service Sanitation is the most recognized and widely accepted food safety training and certification program available for managers today. All fundamental aspects of food safety and quality control will be covered in an easy to learn, interactive format. Students will learn how to pass a health inspection, decrease waste from food spoilage and avoid a food borne disease outbreak. Successful completion will qualify students to train and certify their own employees.
