Pre-Licensing of Property & Casualty - Insurance Licensing Pre: Co: Agents & Brokers Massachusetts state law requires insurance agents and brokers to complete 50 hours of instruction as a prerequisite to obtaining a property and casualty license from the Division of Insurance. This property and casualty insurance course satisfies your pre-licensing educational requirement and prepares you to pass the pre- licensing exam adminstered by Assessment Systems, Inc. (ASI) This course consists of 21 classroom hours and 29 home-study hours. Learn about the different types of policies, pertinent terms used in the industry, policy provisions and contract law.
