Basic Accounting for Small Business Pre: Co: Elect: Covers the basic bookkeeping and accounting needed for small and start-up businesses, including how to set up books, record transactions and prepare monthly financial statements. Learn to understand financial reports, the basic criteria and items to consider in incorporation, partnerships and sole propietorships, S vs. C Corps, cash vs. actual basis, proper reporting for bank and SBA loans, tax-filing, requirements, manual vs. computerized accounting and how to evaluate a business' worth.
