Making Money From Your Inventions Pre: Co: Do you have an idea for a new product that could possibly generate income for you and your family, but you're not sure how or even if to proceed? This course will guide you through a logical and realistic sequence of tasks that will progressively clarify your best path to success. Topics to be discussed include how to do online product and patent searches, how to protect your idea yet safely share it with others when necessary, how to objectively evaluate its' chances for success, how to decide whether to make and sell, license for royalties, sell for a lump sum, or sometimes do nothing at all. Please note: Students are advised not to divulge any un-patented inventions or other confidential business information.
