Assistant Laboratory Animal Technician Test Preparation Pre: Co: The field of laboratory animal care is growing faster than the workforce has been able to support, and there are more positions available than there are qualified applicants to fill them. This course will review the ALAT material to prepare the student to take AALAS (American Association for Laboratory Animal Science) ALAT (Assistant Laboratory Animal Technician) certification test. Upon successful completion of the test, along with AALAS specified work experience, the student will gain ALAT certification. Completion of this course provides the student with an advantage in seeking employment in the laboratory animal care field. Class meets on 2/16, 3/2, 3/16, 3/30, 4/13, and 4/27. Textbook included in price.
