NSCC Credit by Examination Program Pre: CAS Approval Co: Students my earn college course credit with prior CAS approval by passing NSCC faculty prepared examinations for lecture/discussion non-laboratory courses as determined by departmental policy: (1) Departmental Examinations are individualized examinations for NSCC courses which generally are not included in the national examination programs. Students may earn a 'Pass' grade based on a performance level of 'C' or better. Prior to testing, students may elect the option of earning a letter grade. (2) Challenge Examinations are standardized examinations which utilize written item responses and performance evaluations. Students may earn a 'Pass' grade based on a performance level minimum of 'C' for credit options (CMP101, OFT120, PSY118) and a course waiver for CPS100.
