Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Education Support Pre: Co: Students may earn college credit by passing DANTES examinations which have been evaluated by faculty as equivalent to NSCC courses. Cut-off scores have been determined to demonstrate equivalency to a performance level of 'C' or better as stated in the NSCC-DANTES Policy. Examinations cover subject areas in Science, Mathematics, Business, Social Science, and Applied Technology. Upon receipt of student application, an official score report from Educational Testing Services, and verification of student eligibility, the Center for Alternative Studies transcripts course credit with a grade of 'T' (transfer). The Center for Alternative Studies is an official DANTES Test Center.
