Excelsior College Examination Program Pre: Official Score Report Co: Students may earn college course credit by passing Excelsior College examinations (formerly Regents), which have been evaluated by faculty as equivalent to NSCC courses. Cut-off scores have been determined to demonstrate equivalency to a performance level of 'C' or better as stated in the NSCC- Excelsior Policy. Examinations cover subject areas in science, business, mathematics, nursing, and social science. Upon receipt of student application, an official score report from Educational Testing Services, and verification of student eligibility, the Center for Alternative Studies transcripts course credit with a grade of 'T' (Transfer). Contact information for designated Excelsior test centers is provided by the Center for Alternative Studies.
