College Level Examination Program (CLEP) Pre: Official Score Report Co: Students may earn college credits by successfully passing College Level Examination Program (CLEP) examinations which have been evaluated by faculty as equivalent to NSCC courses. Cut-off scores have been determined to demonstrate equivalency to a performance level of 'C' or better as stated in the NSCC-CLEP Policy. Examinations cover subject areas in history, social science, foreign languages, composition, literature, science, mathematics, business, and humanities. Supplemental essays may be required in order to demonstrate course competency. Upon receipt of student application, an official score report from Educational Testing Services, and verification of student eligibility, the Center for Alternative Studies transcripts course credit with a grade of 'T' (Transfer). The Center for Alternative Studies is an official CLEP Test Center.
