The course will provide a broad-based perspective of diversity management in the workplace. It will examine t the contemporary workforce which represents multiple diferences, including for example, gender, race, culture ethnicity, age, alternate life styles, and physical/mental abilities. This course will focus on using knowledge of diversity to develop the leadership potential of individuals in organizations. Thus, by examining the issues of managing a diverse clientele, as well as employees, students gain an understanding of the managerial skills and internal policies needed to optimize every emplyee's contribution to organizational goals.
