An introduction to the leadership fundamentals such as setting direction, problem-solving, listening, presenting briefs, providing feedback, and using effective writing skills. Students explore dimension of leadership values, attributes skills, and actions in the context of practical, hands-on, and interactive exercises. Continued emphasis is placed on recruitement and retention of students. The Cadre uses role modeling to facilitate building stronger relationships among the students through common experience and practical interaction which are critical aspects of the course.
