This course is the second in the Cisco Networking Academy series and is designed to give students a more indepth understanding of networks and networking devices necessary for their operation. Students will be introduced to WANs and routers, router configuration, IOS software, routing and routed protocols, and the TCP/IP protocol suite. Additionally, students will learn troubleshooting techniques, upper layer protocols, and security measures necessary for protecting network from malicious intruders. Lab is required.
