Description:

Students will study and apply foundation concepts and pedagogical knowledge grounded in research-base literature in designing, implementing, and evaluating the scientific principles underlying the types and uses of natural resources from Physical Science, and Earth Science lens in order to meet the diverse needs of learners across Middle grade environments. Use of technology is required. This is the first course in a three-part series of integrated course work aligned with state and national standards. Connections to chemistry, geology, and biology content will be emphasized. Lecture/Lab Hours: Three hours lecture and two hours laboratory per week.
