This course introduces students to creative process of scriptwriting for film and television through workshops, screenings, and examination of screenplays. Plot, character development, writing for visual media, and other elements of screenwriting will be covered. Students will develop a minimum of two short film scripts and one television dramatic or comedy script (spec script).
