Student Teaching in Music Education is a period of guided music teaching during which the student, under the direction of a cooperating teacher, takes increasing responsibility for leading the school music experiences of a given group of learners over a period of consecutive weeks and engages more or less directly in many of the activities which constitute the wide range of a music teacher's assigned responsiblities.
