Description:

Special psychosocial needs of children who are hospitalized will be idendified. Students will learn to assess children (age 0-18) in a holistic manner, and to function as part of a health care team. This course will, in part, prepare students for certificationas a Child Life Specialist or to work with children in other treatment environments.
