This course provides an introduction to the study of textiles with emphasis on selection, use, performance and care of textile products in the environment. Clothing selection for individuals is also emphasized, with recognition of aesthetic, social, psychological and economic factors related to dress. Prerequisites: Exit from Developmental Studies Reading, English, and Mathematics.
