A survey course designed for students majoring in Anthropology and other social science disciplines. The course explores the logic of scientific inquiry with special emphasis on the measurement of theoretical concepts, data analysis, and data collection techniques. Qualitative and quantitative approaches to understanding are presented as both are essential elements of Anthropology's holistic approach to understanding human diversity. Prerequisites: AN 100 or AN 105.
