GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) to restate financial statements for differences between companies. Emphasis on impact of financial transactions and how to better evaluate firms' performances. Reflects a user's perspective rather than a preparer's perspective. Not open to MAcc students. Prerequisite: ACTG 4281.
