FY 100 -- @First Year Success Seminar (1). The purpose of the First Year Success Seminar (FYSS) is to introduce new students to an open and purposeful learning environment, and to help them develop the habits and rewards of good scholarship. The course will help students connect with the college, through meaninful contact with faculty, staff and other students. It will inform students about the services available to them and help students make a successful transition to the social and academic life at the college.
