GRCN 559 -- @Literacy II: Methods (3) This is the second literacy course in the program. Teacher candidates will apply their understandings about literacy acquired in GRCN 558 (Literacy I) in the design of literacy curriculum and instruction for students in the elementary grades. They will continue to learn how to use concepts from reading, language, and child development to teach reading, writing, speaking, viewing, listening, and thinking and to help children apply their developing literacy competencies to many different situations, materials, and ideas. For MST part-time Ottawa program only.
