GRCN 505 -- Introduction to Special Education (3) This course provides an overview of the educational, psychological and social needs of learners with disabilities. It discusses the impact of special education law on the public school program and provides background for designing appropriate interventions for students with a range of special learning needs. The course covers the principles of the Universal Design for Learning in planning instruction that meets diverse student needs. For MST part-time Ottawa program only.
