A continuation of Composition I, extending basic compositional and orchestration techniques for chamber groups, both acoustic and electro-acoustic. Topics will include but not be limited to modal writing, serial procedures, form, and organic development. Students will write for existing chamber groups in the School of Music and are encouraged to showcase their efforts in Student Composer recitals throughout the year. Prerequisite: Composition I.
