This course, offered to music and business students, is an introductory entrepreneurship course with a twist. Emphasis is focused on arts-related endeavors. Participants explore the terminology and key concepts of entrepreneurship - idea generation, product development, market research, financing, starting up, operating/growing a new venture, team building, and marketing - in addition to the potential of the arts. By semester's end, students develop an Opportunity Plan for an arts-related venture.
