Description:
Students will gain a fundamental knowledge of: a) normal and disordered patterns of phonological development; b) methods of analyzing phonological data, and; c) assessment and treatment of articulation and phonological disorders in children. Students will have practical experience in the organization and interpretation of complex speech data and the administration of articulation assessment instruments; they will demonstrate competence in selecting and justifying treatment goals and procedures, and will perform case and staffing and clinical-problem solving activities.
