The practice of law and delivery of legal services are constantly changing. The full text online legal information systems such as Lexis and Westlaw revolutioned legal research in storing, organizing and disseminating legal information in recent years. Currently most of the legal information is also available on the Internet through various websites. Students will get hands-on experience in query formulation, retrieving relevant documents and updating the research in using LexisNexis and Westlaw. Students will develop skills in using various legal websites and meta search engines of the Internet, and also will be exposed to fundamentals in creating a website for legal information.
