This course focuses on developing the logical and expressive skills necessary for effective legal writing. Areas of emphasis include structural fundamentals, stylistic strategies, logic, statutory and case analysis, and the preparation of effective legal documents. Through frequent writing assignments and class discussion of sample legal problems, students learn how to apply rules of law to fact situation and construct effective legal arguments.
