Description:
A continuation of the didactic courses PHCEU 360, 361, 362, and 363 and of the laboratory courses phceu 360L and 361L. This course is devoted to the exploration and examination of the physical and physicochernical behavior of drugs, dosage forms, and drug delivery systems in a physiological milieu and their implications for phannaceutical care. Bioavailability and bioequivalence will be highlighted. Pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic concepts, including absorption kinetics, volumes of distribution, and compartmental and non-compartmental models, will be introduced to the student.
