This course provides an opportunity for students to integrate knowledge, skills, theory and practice in a community leadership field setting. Students will partner with a host organization (i.e., the student's current employer or other local community-based organization) to design and conduct a mutually beneficial project. Students will learn and apply planning skills as they create and complete their service project. By reflecting on their service to a community- based organization, students will demonstrate their understanding of community leadership theory and its practical relevance in a particular context.
