This course examines and evaluates strategies to develop an effective parish marketing and fund-raising process. Topics such as parish research, congregant segmentation, effective marketing mixes, and successful promotional and fund-raising techniques will be covered. Upon successful completion of this course the student will: Be able to conduct research into parish demographics and parish organizational needs; Understand how to conduct an assessment of the needs of various congregant constituencies; Develop effective marketing and advertising plans; Initiate tithing programs; Manage growth and development projects, capital campaigns, endowment efforts, and restricted donor funds.
