MUED 381 and MUED 382 are two sequential courses that focus on beginning level performance skill development on orchestral stringed instruments. They are intended for undergraduate music education majors, and are part of the overall secondary instrument component of the music education curriculum. Students will study an upper string instrument (violin or viola) one semester and a lower string instrument (cello or bass) the second.
