This course provides and overview of the important role of information and its use in leading a modern parish. While it does not provide training in the use of basic application software, it does show how use of such applications can improve efficiency of data tracking within a parish and enable collaboration within a deanery ordiocese. It also examines ways to build fellowship through creative use of parish web sites. Basic hardware and network concepts are also discussed. Upon successful completion of this course the student will be able to: Develop or enhance financial tracking data; Design a parish web site; or Enhance parish communication, marketing and fund-raising through creative use of an existing parish web site; Build collaborative networks within a group of parishes, a deanery, or a diocese.
