Exposes the student to the importance of communication among and between politically, culturally and ethnically diverse people as a bridge to understanding in an increasingly multi-cultural world. This course explores the role of media in the erasure and creation of political and social boundaries, addresses the role of interpersonal perception in communicating with persons from varied cultures, and allows the student to apply these understandings in their own lives.
