This course will deal with a description of the various types of insurance, casualty, property, life and employee benefits. An examination of the kinds of risks covered by each major insurance type will be made. Risk Financing, Risk Retention and Risk Transfer will be considered as various methods of approaching the Risk Management Process. This is a basic course which should accelerate in sophistication as the year progresses.
