This course will relate the topics of contract, tort, labor, intellectual property and antitrust law as they affect the fields of amateur and professional sports and entertainment. The course will cover such matters as NCAA rules and regulations, professional contracts, agent contracts and agent representation of athletes/entertainers, interference with contractual relations, collective bargaining agreements in professional sports, franchise agreements, royalty agreements and license fees.
