SML is a markup language that is heavily used in modern information systems to share data between systems. Students will examine the core XML language syntax, chemas and DTD's used for validation, and transformation of the XML data for presentation. The course will then explore generation and consumption of XML data in different environments such as PHP, Flash and DHTML.
