This is the third course in the didactic sequence of instruction in the neuromuscular curriculum and integrates previous coursework and skills into course programming. The major emphasis of this course is to apply the elements of patient/client management to adult persons demonstrating aspects of disablement due to specific neurological conditions: brain tumors, multiple sclerosis, basal ganglia disorders, acquired brain injury, and vestibular system dysfunction. Emphasis will be placed on integration of examinations skills into evaluation, determination of functional prognosis, clinical problem solving as well as the planning and execution of therapeutic interventions.
