This is the first of a two-semester course sequence focusing on a theme chosen by the Course Coordinator and approved by the Honors College. The first semester concentrates on strengthening the student's writing, analysis, and interpretation skills. Required "plenary" sessions will augment lectures and discussion. The course is intended to be taken in the student's freshman year though other arrangements may be made for students whose courses of study do not permit this. This course is required for all Honors College students.
