This course is designed to give the volunteer fire police specific training in the laws that govern their duties and responsibilties. Instruction will cover New York State Penal Laws, New York State Criminal Procedure Laws, Article 35 Use of Force and Deadly Force, and the right of fire police to take custody of firearms under certain circumstances.
