This course provides in-depth instruction in the use of truck/ladder company equipment as needed for emergency situations. This includes the use of ground ladders equipment for fire suppression. This course will also include such topics as specialized tools used for ventilation, forcible entry and search and rescue procedures. Fire suppression and building construction issues will also be addressed. Prerequisite: Students must be a member of a certified professional / volunteer fire department, law enforcement agency or by permission of Program Director. Successful completion of Firefighter I or equivalent is required. Campus and term: J occasionally
