This course provides the hazardous materials incident commander with the skills necessary to successfully and safely manage an incident. This course takes both a proactive and reactive approach to hazardous material incidents. The students will be exposed to preemptive site safety plans and development of incident action plans as well has how to manage an incident in progress. Prerequisite: Students must be a member of a certified professional / volunteer fire department, law enforcement agency or by permission of Program Director. Campus and term: J occasionally
