This course provides identification and awareness information to allow students to make reasonable judgments in confined space rescue situations. This course will examine how to identify potential hazards and preparing rescue plans. Air quality and monitoring issues will be examined as well as regulations. Prerequisite: Students must be a member of a certified professional / volunteer fire department, law enforcement agency or by permission of Program Director. Successful completion of Scene Support Operations or Firefighter I or equivalent is required for attendance. Campus and term: J occasionally
