This course provides a basic understanding of fire behavior. The course examines the basic concepts of fire chemisty and normal fire behavior. This course will also look at accepted procedures used in determining the cause of fires. Issues relating to scene preservation and fire patterns will also be discussed. Prerequisite: Students must be a member of a certified professional/volunteer fire department, law enforcement agency, or by permision of the Program Director. Campus and Term: J occasionally
