Students will learn that power yoga systematically deals with and conditions each region of the body/mind, gradually and safely loosening bound joints and stiff body parts, tight muscles, and connective tissues and significantly improves cardiovascular health and reaction time, muscle tone, injury prevention, and overall sense of well being. Students will learn to complete several fun yet challenging yoga sequences designed to build up stamina and focus, relieve stress and emotional tension through use of several breathing techniques, meditation, and breath and body awareness.
