Students will learn about basic concepts common to all sports. Topics will include the history of interschool athletics in NY State as well as rules, regulations, and policies of athletics, performance skills, technical information, and organizaztion and management practices. Special training and conditioning of athletes in specific sports, fitting of equipment, specific safety precautions and officiating methods will also be examined.
