This class enables students to improve their critical thinking skills through the comparison and contrast of a range of stories from different cultures. The idea of the quest, especially the search for identity, is one that various cultures have and display differently. This class will take several typically well-known tales and explore how several cultures have presented their own renderings, allowing students to explore stories from various cultures in order to compare and contrast their underlying meanings.
