Description:
Student(s) will engage in archival research on the Progressive Era (1890 - 1920) in local history by organizing, researching, interpreting, and communicating their understanding of this era through the use of the Jamestown YMCA's original records. They will organize, work to preserve, and utilize these primary sources; including newspaper, photographic, and institutional records. This may include placing records in acid-free folders and boxes, shelving items in chronological order, and scanning evidence through standard archival methods.
