Description:
This course is designed for officers, investigators, and ciminalists, firearms examiners and district attorneys. A review of basic firearms related topics is given to insure all participants have a fundamental understanding of the principles necessary to conduct a reconstruction of a shooting incident. Techniques introduced during lecture are further developed through extensive hands on exercises. Practical exercises will be carried out on a shooting range and students will use equipment discussed in class to solce various problems. Students will be provided with a comprehensive training manual. This is a five day course (45 hours). Campus and Term: J occasionally
